Great job yesterday against Ritenour. We won 109 to 59 putting our dual-meet record at 2-4. We had a lot of personal best times as swimmers competed in events that may not have been their best events. The meet was close up through the 50 free but we started pulling away through the rest of the meet.

We finished 3rd in the Quad, just 12 points behind 2nd place Parkway North. We had a few upsets and some great close finishes. Many of us continue to drop time in our events which is exactly what we want to do. If you didn't hurt a little after a race, you didn't swim hard enough.

We lost the meet against Parkway North, 100-80, but we had some great swims.

We braved a very late bus and a slightly altered event schedule, but we were able to come out strong for the entire meet. We had some distinct improvements from the last meet but we have a long way to go before we are ready for Conference. Summit finished the meet with a win: 105-71.

We exhibited a decent effort but with some reservations--we must compete the entire meet and not just our favorite/best events. From the first event to the last, we must utilize all 110% of our abilities. |
