Practice is cancelled for today, Monday, Dec 1. We are still planning on holding our Maroon and Black meet tomorrow as well as the parent meeting following the meet.
I will make and post the lineup for the Maroon team and the Black team online later today. All after school activities will end at 4pm today, district-wide. The Girls Swim and Dive Team will still have their scheduled team pictures at 3:15-ish. Our team parent meeting will be rescheduled for Dec 2 (same day as our Maroon and Black meet).
Our STL Bread Co night is still scheduled for this evening. Please feel free to stop by for dinner between 4-8pm and show the flyer when you order. I will most likely be there around 5:15 or so. Practices over the holiday weekend remain unchanged. If there is any change, I will update everyone via email/website/twitter. Please contact me if you have any further questions. 1. Picture Day is scheduled during practice at 3:15 after school on Nov 25. Please bring your team suits and your warm-up jackets.
2. We will host our Girls Swim and Dive Team parent meeting at 5:15 also on Nov 25. Coaches will be sharing important information with parents. 3. Remember that Nov 25 is our team fundraising night at the Fenton STL Bread Co from 4pm-8pm. Please invite friends and family to have dinner with us. Just show the flyer when you order! 4. Practice times on the Nov 26 and Nov 28 are from 9am-11am. Remember to check the calendar if you need to specific practice times on any day throughout the season. 5 .SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Maroon and Black meet has been moved to Dec 2 and will run from 4-5:15 or so. Senior Swim and Dive captain, Justin Mars, signed with Saint Louis University Tuesday, Nov 18. Congratulations. We wish you the best!

Congrats to the Rockwood Summit State Swim and Dive Team for their efforts in the 2014 State Swim and Dive meet. Summit finished 26th overall with 28 points. Our Medley Relay finished 16th, and Justin Mars finished 4th in the IM and 8th in the breast stroke.
Boys team awards banquet is Tuesday evening. Don't forget to RSVP! Also, the girls team will begin practice today after school. Congratulations to the Rockwood Summit Swim and Dive Team’s exciting 2nd place finish at Conference last night!
Highlights include a state qualifying time and new school record for the 200 yard freestyle relay (Justin Mars, Mike Bassett, Zach Abkemeier, Max Stapleton), and a first place for the Medley Relay (Mike Bassett, Justin Mars, Tim Weber, Max Stapleton). Max earned 1st place finishes for the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly. Justin earned a 1st place finish in the 200 Individual Medley and 2nd place in the 100 yard breast stroke. All around, the entire team put forth a great effort last night. Next Friday, the team will be heading to the St. Peter’s RecPlex for State prelims. Conference Results are HERE. |
